A Photographic Walk in the Neighborhood

Anxious to find out how my camera is performing, and still somewhat scalded by the outcome of my first photo shoot, I decided to take on a low-key approach. I went for a walk in the park close to my home so I could practice operating the Rolleicord camera and make sure there were no technical issues with the picture capturing process.

The park is close to an Elementary School and the stroll is quite enjoyable as car traffic is limited and you can cross paths with all sorts of people: kids on bikes, joggers, mothers pushing their strollers, dogs breaking out from their yards. The park itself feels also cozy with its tennis and basketball courts, baseball yard, playground, and nature trail where the local community can gather and have some family fun.

I definitely need to learn to be faster at snatching people in motion so they fit in my frame!
