A Saturday Morning in the Houston Heights

Every other month, Ricci and I drive to Houston to pick up grains for our distillery. It is also a good excuse to visit with friends who live in the Heights. They have two sweet dogs they walk every morning, so when in town, I tag along with the pooches and bring my Rolleicord to observe people from the neighborhood in their weekend routine: exercising, walking their pets, taking the kids for a healthy stroll, or all of those at once!

The shots I selected were taken in January and February 2021. None of them are outstanding, but as a whole, they represent the vibe of this lively neighborhood, with its committed athletes and joyful families crossing each other on the bike path.
